Special Things Jewellery design and make one of a kind, handmade gemstone jewellery in Sterling Silver, Argentium Sterling Silver and 14kt gold filled wire and rings. Our jewellery comprises one of a kind gemstone pendants, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings, handmade in Sterling silver, Argentium Sterling Silver and 14kt gold filled. As every item of jewellery is handmade, no two items can ever be identical - each is unique. Every gemstone, cabochon or shell takes on a life and character of their own as they are being created, so making the finished article truly one of a kind.
Some of the techniques used by Special Things Jewellery are ring weaving and wire wrapping or sculpting. Ring weaving was used in making chain mail (or maille) armour. Wire wrapping in jewelry (history) is a method that has been in use going back many thousands of years. Handmade jewelry using wire wrapping / sculpting have been found in the early remains of Egyptian, Roman, Etruscan, Byzantine, Iraqi and Viking civilizations to name but a few.

Custom beaded and gemstone bracelets in Sterling silver, Argentium™ and 14kt gold filled wire, matching items of handmade gemstone jewelry are often available on custom order, just ask us.
Handmade gemstone and beaded necklace using Swarovski crystal and gemstone beads. These are also made in a variety of materials, if you would prefer eg Argentium™ to 14kt gold filled wire just let us know.
Each handmade pendant uses a variety of birthstones, gemstones, Abalone shell and other unique items as we find them. A pendant takes on it’s own character in the making.
Our handmade earrings vary from small dangle to large chandelier, beaded, Swarovski crystal, gemstone, Abalone shell and are also made in Sterling silver, 14kt gold filled wire and Argentium™. Sometimes the finished jewelry turns out completely different to my original idea.
Our gemstone rings are custom made in the main, as size is so important. We utilize birthstones, Cubic Zirconium, Swarovski crystal and gemstones to create a unique ring which will fit perfectly. Whether your preference is Sterling silver, 14kt gold filled or perhaps Argentium™ just let us know.
Our gifts section is our newest venture and our aim is to make unusual and unique handmade gifts available.
